There's a saying in Hindi, "Karat karat abhyas te jadmati hot sujan" i.e. if one keeps practicing, he/she becomes wise. And we have a good example of it in Wasim Jaffer. Finally he did it. Yeah, he's knocked a ton on very first day of the second and final Test of India Bangladesh test match series, Mirpur, Dhaka. "It is nice to get a hundred in Test cricket; especially to come back and get one after a pair," Jaffer said after his stylishly made century. It would have been really very embarrassing for Mumbai boy Jaffer to get dismissed for a pair in last Test match. But now he must be a relieved man for sure.

India amassed 326 runs without any loss, as Wasim Jaffer led the way with a brilliant knock of 138. Dinesh Karthik was not out on 82 as the two openers put on 175 for the opening wicket, while Rahul Dravid was also unbeaten on 88.
