Cricket is our religion, and we ardently love it. And all of us want to see skipper Rahul Dravid holding World Cup in 2007. But I don’t think it's going to happen, and this thought got adhered in my mind after watching yesterday's match with Australia.

A captain is like a king who has to lead his army by example. But yesterday, when Rahul came back after rain poured in on the ground, he was damn nervous. He's a world class middle order batsman, but he isn't conversant with opening the innings. Thus, he succumbed under pressure and entire strategy of team India has gone awry. Just like Dravid, Sehwag is also a talented batsman, but as an opener and not as a middle order batsman. And therefore he failed once again to perform, though he got run out.

The problem with team India is that bating order is ambiguous and no one knows at what position he'll be called to bat. BCCI is only concerned about raking in the moolah, and don't give it a damn to think about needs of team e.g. who should be playing etc. Class batsman like Laxman isn't included in the squad and they haven't picked Kumble either. Don't know from where Dinesh Mongia makes a place in the team? I think we should have an aggressive captain like Ganguly and just a good batting order to win upcoming world cup.
